A few metaphors

We like to think of ourselves as tasteful tailors – finding out, with you, what your organisational wardrobe needs; creating a design that suits you; choosing the cloth that helps you to build on the best of you; sewing and weaving it all together with the greatest of care and skill; and finally standing back, looking in the mirror with you and appreciating what we’ve created together. In short our tailors personalised service is designed to help you get noticed in all the right ways, for all the right reasons: a cover story to be proud of.

By the way, we appreciate the value of metaphors and often use them in our work. Our colleague Martin Leith has created an interesting analysis of metaphors used to consider all kinds of aspects of change (www.martinleith.com)

A metaphor we’ve used with our alliance partners in PWST (Partners for Whole System Transformation - see below) sees us as the Midwives Gardening Club: midwives who help birth new wonders; gardeners who nurture the growth and flowering of beautiful things (both new shoots and mature roots); and a club, where like-minded people share their passions and supports each other in constantly increasing their level of skill, while enjoying the process.

Watch out for other tasty metaphors here.
