few metaphors
By the way, we appreciate the value of metaphors and often use them in our work. Our colleague Martin Leith has created an interesting analysis of metaphors used to consider all kinds of aspects of change (www.martinleith.com) A metaphor we’ve used with our alliance partners in PWST (Partners for Whole System Transformation - see below) sees us as the Midwives Gardening Club: midwives who help birth new wonders; gardeners who nurture the growth and flowering of beautiful things (both new shoots and mature roots); and a club, where like-minded people share their passions and supports each other in constantly increasing their level of skill, while enjoying the process.
