The
large and the small of it
Wikima is probably the largest small consultancy you
may meet. We are literally one man (actually woman) and a dog! Romy
Shovelton and the polar husky Qimmiq.
In practice Wikima is proud to present in our team, the most extraordinary
group of partner organisations and individuals that you could hope
to count on and enjoy. Their collective accolades would make the
average tickertape carnival look tame. They are adored by their
clients and those who work with them. That’s why they are
part of the World of Wikima.
Why do we work this way? So that you and we get the best of both
worlds – the large and the small of it.
Our World of Wikima network means that we can offer
a team of people who:
- are genuinely relevant to the job in hand.
You’re not stuck with whoever happens to be on our books.
We access the range of our partner organisations, each specialising
in key aspects of client needs, and choose those with the skills
and experience needed at the time. People we know. People you
will admire.
- are always fresh and learning.
Wikima people and partners are committed to learning: knowing
what’s new in the worlds of organisations and communities,
integrating new thinking into the way we see things and the way
we work, and creating dynamic and accessible approaches from the
synthesis. Critical is an individual commitment to personal consciousness,
growth and transformation.
- practice what they preach …
…and model what they believe in. For instance, the reason
Romy is the sole ‘employee’ of Wikima, is that she
is passionate about spending time in far away places and with
people’s other than her native UK. This passion often leads
to travels of significant distance and time. Such travels are
part of Romy’s own work/life balance in practice. For a
